Customer Responsibility to Verify Age

By placing an order on hippy-house.store, you agree to undergo age verification. We use AgeChecker.Net, a trusted third-party age verification platform, to confirm eligibility.

If the system cannot verify your age automatically, you will receive an email requesting photo identification. Please monitor both your inbox and spam folder for these instructions.

Manual Verification Process

If automatic verification fails, you must:

  • Submit a clear photo of yourself holding a valid government-issued photo ID

  • Ensure that the name, date of birth, and expiration date are clearly visible

  • You may cover other sensitive data such as ID number or address for privacy

  • Upload the image through the verification popup or email it to: support@hippy-house.store

Verification Denials

Verification may be denied for the following reasons:

  • You are under 21 years of age

  • The name on the order does not match the name on your ID

  • You are using a payment method not registered in your name

  • Submitted information appears false or manipulated

How It Works

For most customers, verification is completed using only:

  • Date of birth

  • Address

If automatic verification fails, you will be prompted to upload a photo of your government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, state ID, or military ID). In many cases, your shipping and payment information will pre-fill the necessary fields; only your birthdate may be required manually.

Processing Time

  • Over 90% of customers are verified instantly (under 30 seconds) using basic information

  • Manual ID uploads are usually processed within 10–30 seconds after submission

  • Verification occurs in a secure popup window during checkout — no redirection off-site

One-Time Verification

You do not need to verify your age for every order.

If your name, date of birth, and address remain consistent, you will not be prompted again. However, any changes (e.g., new address or updated payment info) may require re-verification.

What If You Fail Age Verification?

If you fail the automated system, you will be prompted to upload one of the following IDs:

Failed Verification Consequences

If AgeChecker is unable to verify your age:

  • You will no longer be able to place future orders
